ScopeDriver 1.3.3 Released 19 February 2003
- Added Startup Preference (hold down
SHIFT at launch) to return all application preferences to their default values.
- Log Window now remembers if it was open at the last quit. If so, it reopens when ScopeDriver is launched. This is handy for those who prefer to keep the Log Window open.
- Communications Window’s “Copy” button has been recaptioned “Copy to Clipboard.” Copied results are now in correct order (earliest at top).
- Communications Window entries now include the time in seconds.
- Mac OS X: Sheets implemented in non-modal contexts (Log, Lists, User Objects).
- Faster precession calculation.
- Fixed Windows bug where prefs file read error could occur under some circumstances.
- Code base implemented for Apple Event recognition.
- Serial connections should be more reliable with long cable runs.
- Worked around bug where canceled slews could leave one axis moving slowly (some ETX models).
- Fixed elusive OS X crash related to multiple connections.
- Printing the Observing Log implemented, which includes the following:
- Log Print Settings Window.
- Summon via “Log Printing Settings...” in the File menu, when the Observing Log is open and frontmost.
- Select any installed typeface for printing.
- Select a type size between 7 and 12 points.
- Select a line spacing between 0 and 8/60ths of an inch.
- Choose color or black/white printing & previewing.
- Select whether to shade alternating log entries.
- Choose the shading value referenced above.
- View a preview of the above settings.
- Select log fields to include, and drag fields to reorder in the printout.
- Click to select all fields or to deselect all but one.
- Log Page Setup Dialog
- Summon via “Page Setup...” in the File menu, when the Observing Log is open and frontmost.
- Standard Mac or Windows page setup dialog saves settings for future use.
- Log Print Preview
- Summon via “Print Preview...” in the File menu, when the Observing Log is open and frontmost.
- View thumbnails of each page, or zoom in and drag page with hand cursor
- Navigate with Next Page and Prev Page buttons, or use the little arrows control to rapidly access any page.
- Print with standard system dialog, or cancel.
